What's
new and developing at Cottage Resort and Cranberry Ridge Cottage
Suites on Salt Spring Island...
The
last couple of weeks have been beautiful - warm and sunny. We
are 2 months early on all our grounds keeping and gardening projects!
What
to Do?
The
Island is alive with the arts. ArtSpring has a full schedule of
music and theatre planned for the winter and spring seasons. Check

Recreation
opportunities abound as hiking and canoeing can be quite pleasant
at this time of year. The fishing is pretty good as well as the
trout are biting.
A
couple of our recreational outfitters have plans to offer some
activities starting over Spring Break in March and continuing
on over the weekends in April.
Our
public indoor pool opened in 2008 and it has a full program of
public swimming whether it be lap swimming or Aquafit classes
or just splashing around. Check the pool's website for schedule

Many
of the Island's fine restaurants are offering special menus at
this time of year. We would be pleased to make some suggestions

are offering our four nights for the price of 3 again this winter.

We
have firewood split and ready to go and we offer a complimentary
bundle to get you started and we have additional bags available
at a nominal charge that assists us with our chain saw maintenance
costs. A nice fire, a glass of wine and a book sounds very inviting
don't you think?
